When irritability and a grumpy mood strikes your favorite Grizzly... this salve is a simple way to help him get back on track! As the rugged twin to my "Serenity Salve," it's the same herbal blend with the same calming benefits, BUT with the addition of Cypress Essential Oil, it has a more woodsy, masculine scent. 

Like Serenity, it's formulated with herbs traditionally used to lighten moments of irritability, lift a heavy mood, calm nervous tension, or settle a racing or busy mind when it won't quiet down. And, not in a sleepy way... in more of a take-it-down-a-notch-and-keep-going kind of way. The chaos feels a little quieter, the mind feels a little clearer, and you just feel ready to shed the grump and get back to tackling the day. Great for grumpy teens as well!

HOW TO USE IT: This one doesn't really matter where you put it (wherever is most convenient at the time you need it)! Belly, neck & shoulders, thighs, feet... or even simply up your arms. Just grab an almond-sized scoop and massage it in.

FAQ: How to get him to use it? Say... "Hey, Babe. You had a long day and seem stressed. Let me rub this on your back and shoulders." At least... that's how it started at our house! It works so well on my Grizz, he now just puts it on himself when he feels the pressure building. 😉

FAQ'S

WHAT IS THE SHELF LIFE? The shelf life of my salves is 1-2 years; however you'll enjoy the most medicinal benefit within the first year.

HOW MUCH SALVE SHOULD I USE? In general, consider using a "small glop" the size of a pump or two of lotion and apply over the affected area 1-2x daily as needed.

DOES IT STAIN CLOTHING? Be sure to massage the salve into your skin well, then allow a few minutes for it to absorb. If your clothing stains, consider using a little bit less or allow it to absorb longer before dressing.

A randomized controlled trial combining lavender and chamomile aromatherapy showed decreased levels of depression, anxiety, and stress after nightly use for 30 days (LINK)

A 2021 meta-analysis of randomized clinical trials found that lemon balm significantly reduced anxiety and depression symptoms (SMD = –0.98 for anxiety; –0.47 for depression) with minimal side effects (LINK)
