My name is Colette and I'm addicted to herbs! My journey began in 2014 when back-to-back cancer battles (and a stem cell transplant) left my husband Eric weak and depleated. Tired of taking a PILE of pills everyday, I made it my personal mission to find natural options for him that could support his recovery and offer him relief. From severe neuropathy after years of chemo and radiation treatments, to really weird skin issues that no prescription seemed to help - I made it my life's work to formulate lotions, creams, and herbal salves that could elevate his quality of life. He certainly didn't beat cancer to live miserably! This website is a testament to our story... as I mastered one herb, I moved on to another - and soon, a collection was born that changed our lives. It just had to be shared with the world!
it began with dandelions
The first salve I made to help Eric with his irritated, often rashy, skin was Dandelion Salve. I learned that dandelions are packed with the essential vitamins and minerals our skin craves as well as dozens of well-documented beneficial properties that supported the recovery he needed. His skin started to respond and the recovery process began! Seeing what this salve could do created an almost unsatiable curiosity with in me that was the driving force behind formulating the collection you see today. Each salve, lotion, and cream is powered by custom herbal blends that harness the goodness only Mother Nature can offer!
gate-keeper & chief maker
While Eric and I run all aspects of the business together - we do have a few ladies that step in to help with stickering and shipping during peak seasons and busy launches. However, one thing NO ONE touches is production. That's MY JOB. I'm a perfectionist, major gate-keeper of my formulas, and the Chief Maker of all Bloom to Balm products. It's just something I'm not willing to give up. If that keeps me small, so be it. Our products are always handcrafted in small batches, and the only ingredient not listed on the label is the personal pride and love I put into everything I make! They say if it's not broken, don't fix it... take one look at our Customer Reviews and you'll see that we have a pretty good thing going... so it's staying the way it is!

I'm on a new diabetes medication that has a common side effect of Thrush. Tea Tree balm has beaten it back into submission and it's nearly gone. Best part? No weird manmade chemicals. I am in your debt.
