WHERE ARE BLOOM TO BALM PRODUCTS MADE?
All of my products are handmade from scratch in small batches (by me)! My recipes and formulas are all original and my own. We do not use commercial bases. Color and texture may vary from batch to batch and can vary by season or climate. We are located in SE Idaho.
DO YOU HAVE A PHYSICAL RETAIL LOCATION?
Not yet, but coming soon to Main Street in Paris, Idaho in the Spring 2026 (10 miles North of Bear Lake)! Watch social media for details as we renovate and reveal our amazing new space! Until then, we'll continue serving you from our website!
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO GET MY ORDER?
Getting orders out is one of our top priorities! While we ask that you allow us 3-5 business days to process your order, most orders turn around within 1-2 business days. During peak holiday ordering periods, we may need an extra day or two to get caught up.
CAN I PLACE A RUSH ORDER - I NEED IT QUICK!!
For "RUSH" service, please do these two things: 1) Place your order and select Priority as your shipping option. 2) Email me and let me know! I can then bump your order to the top of the pile. If you select Priority Shipping and don't email me, it'll be processed like normal (just with Priority shipping).
DO YOU OFFER DISCOUNTS FOR EVENTS OR CORPORATE ORDERS?
Absolutely! From corporate events to baby and wedding showers, we love it when people, organizations, and businesses choose to put our products in swag bags, use as gifts at retreats, or favors at parties! Discounts start at 25 units (of the same item), reach out and let me know what you need and I'll work up a quote for you!
WHAT IS THE STANDARD SHELF-LIFE OF THE SALVES?
To enjoy the full range of botanical benefits contained in my salves, use within 1 year of purchase. Shelf life may reach up to 2 years when stored at room temperature with lid secured. Direct sunlight, water, dipping dirty fingers, or leaving the lid off will degrade the salve faster. Lotions & creams should be used within 1 year of purchase date.
HOW MUCH SALVE SHOULD I USE?
Applying salve is similar to how you would apply a lotion or cream. Scoop an almond-sized amount onto your finger (about the size of a single pump of lotion), then rub/massage it into the affected area 1-2x daily (or as needed). Of course... you'll naturally use less if it's a tiny area or minor issue. Check the product label or the product listing for more detailed info.
ARE YOUR SALVES ORGANIC?
Because we harvest a good portion of herbs from our family ranch, but aren't classified as a "certified" organic farm, we are unable to label our products as such. Where possible, we source organic and other high-quality ingredients from reputable farms, distributors, and suppliers.
WHAT IF IT'S HOT WHERE I LIVE AND MY PRODUCT MELTS?
If you suspect your product has softened or melted during transit, stand it upright, then leave it at room temperature for a couple of hours or put it in the fridge for 20-30 minutes to firm it back up. Melting or softening will not ruin my salves, balms, lotions, or creams.
WHAT ALLERGY CONCERNS SHOULD I BE AWARE OF?
Any new product (even natural) that you apply to your skin has a potential for allergies or irritation, so test a small area first before regular use. If you have known allergies, review the ingredient list on each label. Discontinue use if reaction or irritation occurs. Most of my products contain Sweet Almond Oil which is derived from nuts.
ARE HERBAL SALVES SAFE FOR CHILDREN AND BABIES?
Many of my salves are family-friendly by design! However, any product that contains eucalyptus, camphor, or peppermint essential oils or menthol crystals are not suitable for young children or babies.
DO YOU MAKE ANY SALVES LAVENDER-FREE?
Once or twice a year, I'll make a small, pre-order batch of salves without lavender essential oil. Watch social media or your email (if you are subscribed) for announcements. Unfortunately, the demand for lavender-free products is fairly low, so it's not something I focus on.
DO YOU HAVE A PRODUCT GUARANTEE?
While I don't have an official guarantee (not every product will work for everyone in every situation), I can tell you every product is handmade with an incredible amount of science, research, intention, and love. If it's in my shop, it's because I'm confident in the formula (and the herbs infused into it), and I am proud to put my name on it. If you are unsure if a product will work for you, I encourage you to try my travel/sample sizes first.
WHAT IS YOUR RETURN POLICY?
Due to the nature of my products, all sales are final. No returns. However, if your package arrives damaged or your product is in some way defective, please reach out and I'm happy to work with you on a replacement. We are a small business, not Amazon - so we appreciate your kindness and understanding. Please see my Return Policy page for more details.
