WHAT IS THE SHELF LIFE? The shelf life of my salves is 1-2 years; however you'll enjoy the most medicinal benefit within the first year.

DOES IT STAIN CLOTHING? Be sure to massage the salve into your skin well, then allow a few minutes for it to absorb. If your clothing stains, consider using a little bit less or allow it to absorb longer before dressing.

Conclusion of Study: "The data obtained in the study showed that the oil yarrow extracts had an evident anti-inflammatory property. Namely, the investigated extracts demonstrated significant anti-inflammatory effect in an in vivo double blind randomized study, using a sodium lauryl sulfate test. The skin parameters assessed in the study (skin capacitance, pH and EI) were restored to the basal values after three- and seven-day treatment with the tested extracts. The shown effects were attributed to yarrow oil extracts composition. The yarrow oil extracts might be used as promising base in the phytopreparations designed for dermatological application as anti-inflammatory agents with a positive impact on the skin pH and its moisture content."

Eczema salve

I bought this and started using it on the back of my sons leg.it works great and has helped.i will be buying a bigger 1 then a travel size.

Great for kids

I bought this first in the sample 6-pack and then came back for the large bottle! My 3 yo has eczema and I really am not a fan of putting steroid cream on her (as the doctor prescribed), so my sister suggested using this. I had forgotten I even had it on my sample pack, so I pulled it out and used it in her that night. It almost immediately stopped her scratching all evening. After a few applications the big spots were gone. We keep using it every time she has a flare up and it works wonders! Best part, it’s not a steroid, it’s all natural! I highly recommend it if you got someone with eczema.

Just this year, eczema has appeared on the back of my head (age 59). I use nearly all of Collette's salves so why not try this one, too? It has not disappointed!
